Located near the greenhouse, the Halte environnementale (Environmental rest stop) is an interpretation centre where the visitors can learn more on ecological gardens. Self-guided panels presents information on ecological landscaping and a series of composters are exposed to demonstrate the advantages of composting domestic refuses The Halte environnementale is an initiative of the Action environnement program.

Take part in this walking rally, designed to give visitors a chance to discover Centre de la nature while informing them about protecting natural resources and eco-responsibility.
Participants can answer a questionnaire with the help of educational signs scattered all over the site and have a chance to win a basket filled with local products.
